ECTN procedure for Benin
Important information
- Any shipment not covered by an ECTN on departure from the port of loading is considered to be non-compliant and will give rise to penalties and fines to be paid directly to the Autonomous Port of Cotonou.
- The ECTN is issued by the Bill of Lading.
Required documents
- Bill of lading or BL - Commercial invoice.
- Freight invoice.
- Packing list.
- Copy of vehicle registration document for vehicles.
- Copy of manifest for group C ECTN
- Copy of export card (optional).
- Export declaration.
