ECTN procedure for Cameroon
Important information
- Starting January 1, 2026, ECTN prices for vehicles from Europe will increase to €40, instead of €20.
- As of January 1, 2025, consolidated ECTN will be prohibited. A ECTN cannot have multiple different recipients.
- ECTN must be submitted 48 hours prior to the vessel's arrival. Violators will pay a penalty of 200% of the value of the ECTN.
- The ECTN is issued by the Bill of Lading.
Required documents
- Bill of lading.
- Commercial invoice. (Commercial invoices must contain the names, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses of the senders and recipients.)
- Freight bill.
- Transaction number (not mandatory at creation)
- Registration cards (for vehicles)
- FIMEX registration or special authorization (for vehicles)
